Thumper is out of a set of quadruplets, which included Birch Ridge Farm TC Max, Birch Ridge Farm TC Howie and a stillborn sister. She has much more dairy appearance than did her mother. She has been bred to Birch Ridge Farm MM Moon Beam for spring 2012. Her utter is coming along nicely as of the middle of January, we expect her kids sometime in February. Once she kids, we will know if she inherited her mother's capacity.
Maxine is a very beautiful doe. She has a very dairy appearance--slim and graceful. She is scheduled to be bred to Birch Ridge Farm MM Moon Beam in late February/early March 2012. It should prove to be a good match. We will see if she can live up to her mother and grandmother for capacity.
Eve is the doeling in the center of the picture. Yes, her ears look a little short, they were damaged by frostbite when she was born. She is smaller than all the other doelings, except her sister, the other doe in the picture. We plan to breed her to Birch Ridge Farm MM Moon Beam the spring of 2012. We are hoping to improve the milking capacity of this line.
CeCe is also a sweet tempered goat. She is small like her twin, Birch Ridge Farm Hear No Evil. She also lost the tips of her ears to frostbite. She is scheduled to be bred to Birch Ridge Farm MM Moon Beam in late February/early March 2012. With his bloodlines, we should see improvement in this line.
Gem is certainly eye-catching! She is also out of very good bloodlines. Her paternal grandfather is PromisedLand Incredible Hunk, the 2011 National Grand Champion. Her maternal grandmother is Doemain Acres JJ Gabrielle, a 6*D. Gem is very dairy in appearance. We are expecting only good things out of her match to Birch Ridge Farm MM Moon Beam.
