Ballerina is being offered strictly as a PET. She is lacking the mothering instict. We are currently bottle raising her son, whom she refused to have anything to do with, including cleaning him off or nursing. She would make a good pet or companion. She does come from a good line of milkers on her maternal side. However, we do not recommend breeding her unless you don't mind bottle kids.

Prices subject to change. These guidelines will be adherred to unless lower price is stated in display. Discounts may be available on designated packages at our discretion.

Delivery available within 300 miles of White River Junction, VT for cost of mileage.

Are you ready for a goat?

Goats make great pets, but they do require quite a bit of care. Here are some things to consider before getting a goat.

Goats are herd animals and flourish only when they have compamy. Consider getting 2 goats instead of just one.
Goats are like Houdini. They manage to get out fences you wouldn't think they could escape. They go over, under and through fences. Make sure your pens are escape-proof.
Goats require annual vaccinations for overeater's and tetanus (a cdt shot), supplemental minerals and frequent feet trimming.
Goats require adequate draft-free shelter from the cold and wet with adequate ventilation.
Goats require care 24-7-365. Finding a goatsitter to watch your goats while you take a week's vacation can be difficult and expensive.
Goats require personal attention. A goat who is not handled on a regular basis tends to not be friendly and can be quite difficult to manage.

If you are willing to devote the time, effort and energy to providing the things mentioned above, you are ready for a goat.
